Welcoming OptiTrack & Rokoko To Our Animation Crew
February 14, 2023Well, well, well, it seems you found yourself in a strange yet pretty cool place. At least, that’s what we want you to think. However, back to the point. We at SoStrange plan to take creativity in game development to the next level. Now you are probably wondering to yourself exactly how and who is going to do that. Well for starters and probably the most crucial decision in our studio’s planning was not to be tempted by the greed of the ‘investor.’ So we are entirely uninfluenced by money. So all of our thoughts are pure and justified.
OK, I’m in no way a blogger. However, to kinda start this blog, I’m going to talk about the three unique objectives we plan to follow up on.
1. Story Writing. We plan to keep our story as realistic as possible using real-time conversations and actions based on different consequences that happened in real life. However, these actions are not limited; you can take multiple routes in the game’s story to thread your own Fate.
2. New AI-NPC Implementation. Starting things fresh is hard, but once you finish, you feel more fulfilled than that one time during Thanksgiving. So we are working with Engineers are AI scientists to figure out the most logical way to implement self-learning AI into NPCs that slowly learn about the actions happening around them. We want our players to feel like they are in a world from a world.
3. AI-Generated Quest. We know this is a far-fetched goal, but I don’t think it’s nearly impossible as it seems. I guess only time will tell. For those who wonder exactly what this is basically. We want the game to create fun little mini-quests that you can do after you complete our games. One of the unique features of these quests is that the voice acting is all done by realistic AI Voices.
I say that’s about all that keeps our game ours. We’ll keep posting updates about our development process, and we hope you tag along with us. Also, keep in mind that our Kickstarter is coming out next year! Stay tuned, and stay safe!
