Welcoming OptiTrack & Rokoko To Our Animation Crew

In Japan, we are excited that today, we’ve received a box full of goodies; opening the OptiTrack package made me feel like a kid opening his first present on Christmas. Our package includes 12 Primex-13 tracking cameras, Two sets of Motion Capture Suits in all sizes.

In America, it’s slightly different from above, and we received another special package from Rokoko, SmartSuit, Smartgloves, and Face Capturing Bundles.

You are probably wondering why we are using two companies, and can’t you use OptiTrack for both regions? Yes and no; our rooming situation is struggling since we are a new studio. We have an office in Japan where we can use OptiTrack to its full potential, and we can use Rokoko for our limited spacing in America.

Now that we got that out of the way. These tools will help us overcome the heavy lifting of animation in our development process. However, we will experience some obstacles regarding Non-Sentials (Non-Human) species. We plan to use the ability of AI Generation to animate. Check back soon for a blog on that when it comes out.
